I couldn't help but to come share! You know me and corbels. They are an awesome decorating element and I've found the most wonderful, CHEAP source for these beauties! Remember that I use them at doorway sides with standard wood planks behind, use them at the edges of cabinets and just bought two gorgeous corbels for the faux fireplace mantle I'm doing in our home in Idaho.....

In my quest to rid myself of unnecessary items in our home, I nearly threw out this little desk that is in great shape but had no interest or use. What a ninny! I could simply re-do it! So I added cast plaster to it to give it some detail and wow! What an elegant desk it became!

The last project I had to finish in my elegant new bath was to do something about the worn wooden molding that surrounded the new Faux Sandstone Finish I did over my tile counter top. Yes, it's an absolute sin to kill those precious little creatures to create new fur coats just so we can look "glam". But what about all the fur coats that hang in the thrift stores?
